SHAFAQNA TURKEY – The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has announced the agricultural input price index for November. Compared with the previous month, the index of goods and services used in agriculture increased by 2.12 percent, and the index of goods and services that promote investment in agriculture increased by 4.37 percent in major groups.
The subgroups with low annual growth were veterinary expenses with 37.93% and machine maintenance expenses with 65.59% respectively. On the other hand, the subgroups with the largest annual increase were associated with energy and oil costs with 172.05% and building maintenance costs with 151.15% respectively.
The subgroups showing a decrease from the previous month included energy and oils with 1.95% and fertilizers and soil conditioners with 0.53%, respectively. On the other hand, the subgroups with the highest monthly growth were represented by other goods and services with 8.77% and materials with 6.12%, respectively.
