Hunger limit exceeded 10,000 Turkish lira

Accordingly, the hunger limit, which covers the kitchen purchases of a family of four, increased by 463 liras compared to the previous month and reached 10,259 Turkish liras in February.

While the poverty line, which covers all family expenses such as monthly rent, transport, bills, education, healthcare, clothing, reached 26,994 Turkish liras in February; Again, the amount of expenses needed for a family of four to meet their needs other than food “without feeling deprived” rose to TL 18,304, up TL 1,106 in February.

THE VICTORY OF POVERTY INCREASED BY 12 THOUSAND 243 TL PER YEAR

A written statement from United Kamu-İş indicated that, compared to last year, the fasting limit has increased by 5,122 lira, while spending on non-food needs has increased by 7,121 lira.

The poverty line has increased by 12,243 liras over the past year.

EXPENSES FOR MEAT-FISH-EGGS INCREASED BY 253 TL PER MONTH

According to prices collected from most of Ankara’s shopping markets, the monthly amount of money that can be spent on meat, fish and eggs for a balanced diet has increased by 253 lira compared to the previous month and by 1290 lira compared to the same month. 2022 and reached 2 thousand 634 lira.

Expenditure on dry legumes increased by 7 liras compared to the previous month and by 103 liras compared to the same month of the previous year, to 241 liras.

182 TL PER MONTH TO PURCHASE VEGETABLES

Expenses needed for milk, yogurt and cheese increased by 72 liras to 2,744 liras in February compared to the previous month. There has been an increase of 1,672 liras in the last yearly period.

While the amount to be spent on fruits decreased by 104 liras in February, it increased by 139 liras compared to the same month last year and amounted to 576 liras.

Expenses for vegetables increased by 182 liras compared to the previous month and increased by 773 liras compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 1449 liras.
