Speaking at the gala dinner, President Dündar said that Turkey had survived a great disaster and thanked the whole world, together with Bulgaria, for helping in the catastrophe of the century.

Recalling that Bulgaria went to the polls on April 2, President Dundar said: “It was the 5th election in our neighboring country in 2 years. Now, after these elections, I hope that a government will be established in Bulgaria and relief will come. On May 14, we will have elections, just like in Turkey. I hope that these elections will be crowned with success. Thus, serious steps will be taken for the peace, security and economic development of the region.
