ANKARA (IGFA) – President Erdogan welcomed Iraqi Prime Minister Shia es-Sudani with an official ceremony
Cavalrymen who saluted Shia es-Sudani’s official car on the street in front of the Presidential Complex escorted the car to the protocol gate.
President Erdogan greeted Shia es-Sudani at the main entrance to the complex.
After the national anthems of the two countries were played, accompanied by a 21-gun cannon, Iraqi Prime Minister Shia es-Sudani saluted the Continent Ceremonial Guards Regiment.
Standing on a staircase with Turkish and Iraqi flags, President Erdogan and Shia es-Sudani posed for journalists.
The announcement is expected to come after bilateral and inter-delegation meetings with Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Vahit Kirishci, Trade Minister Mehmet Mus and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoglu and the Iraqi delegation.
