ANKARA (IGFA) – Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, where he traveled to attend a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
He transferred Finland’s ratification of NATO membership to the United States, which retained its membership papers in accordance with the NATO Founding Treaty.
In a post on his social media account, Minister Cavusoglu said: “We discussed our relationship with the US Secretary of State. We have transferred Finland’s instrument of ratification of NATO membership to the United States, which has retained its membership instruments in accordance with the NATO Founding Treaty.
