The new regulation of the Ministry of Commerce regulating retail trade has been published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, chain stores with more than 200 branches for the sale of consumer goods in food retail are required to transfer information about the products they sell and their branches to the system determined by the Ministry.

The aim is to inform the public about prices and enable the consumer to compare prices.

The new regulation also aims to conduct retail trade on competitive terms.
