ANKARA (IGFA) – The details of the phone call of the speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Şentop were published on the official website of the parliament.
Shentop thanked the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Uzbekistan Nurdinjan Ismailov, who conveyed his condolences and wishes in connection with the earthquakes with a source in Kahramanmarash and affecting 11 regions, for the support provided by Uzbekistan in this process, and stated that he visited the regions affected by the earthquake in the first days of the natural disaster and rescued 18 citizens from the rubble, and also thanked the search and rescue teams of Uzbekistan and the medical team of the Uzbek field hospital, created during this process in Khatai, for their selfless work.
During the meeting, which also discussed regional and bilateral issues, Parliament Speaker Şentop expressed satisfaction with the multilateral cooperation within the framework of various regional and international organizations, especially the Organization of Turkish States, in addition to bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey. .
“WE ARE ALWAYS ON THE TURKISH SIDE”
Recalling that they handed over the chairmanship of the Organization of Turkish States to Uzbekistan in November last year, Sentop said that they are ready to provide all possible support in this process as Turkey. Ismailov, who conveyed his condolences and wishes for a speedy recovery in connection with the earthquake, stated that the situation is very sad and stressed that the people of Uzbekistan are always with Turkey.
