In the first six months of 2023, a total of 6,673 companies and 31,129 commodities were inspected by the provincial departments of commerce, primarily market inspections under price fraud inspections in 81 provinces. In this context, in accordance with the actions and measures taken by the Unfair Price Evaluation Board in the first six months of 2023, after the earthquake in 10 provinces of Kahramanmarash on February 6, it was found that a total of 84 companies had raised the prices of electronic trading platforms exorbitantly for urgent necessary materials An administrative fine of 1 million 975 thousand 532 liras was imposed.
As a result of inspections by inspectors from our ministry and provincial departments, 13 car dealers who were found to have stock were fined a total of 66 million 879 thousand lira, including the upper limit of the fine in 2023, for 15 violations.
As a result of checks carried out through the provincial governments, for the exorbitant rise in prices of basic foodstuffs and necessities in the markets, an administrative fine of 965 thousand 945 lira in general, 74 thousand 303 lira for medium markets and 891 thousand 642 lira for two large market, for exorbitant price increases in 3 markets. In this context, as a result of inspections carried out by inspectors from the Ministry of Commerce and provincial governments, the Unfair Price Evaluation Board imposed an administrative fine of 152 million 820 thousand 477 liras on 369 companies in the first six months of 2023. .
