Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Kurtulmus visits TRNC – News Details

TRNC (IGFA) – Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmus made his first foreign visit to the TRNC after the elections.

Arriving in Nicosia, Kurtulmus met for the first time with the leader of the liberation struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people, Dr. J. He laid a wreath at the grave of Fazil Kuchuk.

After a moment of silence, Kurtulmus wrote the following in his memory book:

“The great statesman and Mujahideen Dr. We honor the memory of Fazil Kuchuk with a feeling of mercy and gratitude. As he himself stated, each generation is responsible for passing on the works it produces to new generations. You entrusted us with such a great cause as Cyprus, and we will glorify the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and give it to future generations.”

After the ceremony, Mehmet Kuchuk, the son of Fazil Kuchuk, presented Kurtulmus with a gift.

Later, Kurtulmus visited the grave of the founding president of the TRNC, Rauf Denktash, and laid a wreath at the mausoleum.

Kurtulmush prayed at Denktash’s grave and chatted for a while with Rauf Denktash’s son, Serdar Denktash.
