ANKARA (IGFA) – The “Urgent Appeal for Help” was published by the United Nations (UN).
As part of the call, emergency housing, non-food items, early recovery and garbage collection, multi-purpose cash support and social protection came out on top in the distribution of resources needed in the amount of $1 billion.
As part of the UN-initiated “Fast Call” for the earthquake in Turkey, US$113.5 million was requested for environmentally sound waste disposal to help vulnerable groups at the community level and restore their livelihoods.
