Zolan: “Cyprus is our life, our irreplaceable land” – News Details

KKTC (IGFA) – Osman Zolan, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, visited the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. In addition to a number of contacts and visits, President Osman Zolan is in the TRNC as part of the events dedicated to the Day of Peace and Freedom on 20 July. President Osman Zolan is accompanied by the President of the Eurasian Association of Executive Industrialists and Businessmen (AYSİAD) in Denizli Mahmut Katlık and businessmen accompanying him. President Zolan visited for the first time Zorla Töre, Chairman of the Assembly of the Republic of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Tahsin Ertugruloglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the TRNC, as part of his visit to the TRNC. During the visit, Mayor Zolan, who later visited the Union of Turkish Municipalities of Cyprus, and Mayor Mahmut Ozcinar of Güzelyurt exchanged ideas and collaborated. During the visit of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar, President Zolan was accompanied by the Turkish Ambassador to Nicosia, Metin Feyzioglu. During the visit, where a sincere meeting and warm conversation took place, President Osman Zolan and his entourage expressed gratitude to the President of the Tatars for the interest shown to them and Denizli.

President Zolan visited the founding president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Rauf Denktas, at his grave, as part of his visit to the TRNC, he left carnations on the grave of the late president and prayed. Finally, President Zolan and his accompanying Denizli delegation met with Turgay Deniz, President of the Cypriot Turkish Chamber of Commerce, and business people who are members of the Board of Directors. Expressing that they are trying to raise relations with the baby’s homeland of Cyprus to the highest level, President Osman Zolan said: “Cyprus is our soul, our irreplaceable land, our baby’s homeland. It will stay that way forever.”
On the other hand, President Osman Zolan will take part in the opening ceremony of the new terminal of Ercan Airport, which will be held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as in the programs to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the peacekeeping operation in Cyprus on July 20.
